TRANSFER DEPARTMENT

In order to meet the customers’ needs Frigotech has a wide machine park at its own disposal which includes machines from the simple transfer (for the production of items such as fittings and elbows) to the most complex ones(headstocks on three sides with the possibility of setting up 28 tools managed from CN).
Particularly, in the last two years Frigotech bought three Buffoli-Trans-Bar transfers.

The feature of these machines is the possibility of machining items from bar or big pieces from press in automatic, with manual loading.
A very high productive level (oft superior if compared to a multispindle lathe) represents another interesting feature.
They set supporting hydrostatic units up, which allow an improvement of the features as precision, repeatability, stiffness, load capacity and finishing level, as well as the reduction of wear and vibrations.

Contrary to the multispindle lathes (with which, machining with more than 2000 turns it is possible to cause strong vibrations that influence the machining and damage the lathe), these machines are particularly suitable for pieces from big dimension bar, considering that, as for all the transfer machine, the item remains standstill and the tools swing (if necessary, they can also be balanced).

Entering into the detail, the transfer machine park consists of:

Transfer Buffoli Trans-Bar TRB55 for the machining in automatic of pieces from bar up to a diameter of 55 mm or raw pieces from press, with manual loading.
The machine is equipped with 12 stations and 15 machining units, horizontal axis rotary table. Five units left, four are radial and five right.

Transfer Buffoli Trans-Bar TRB40 for the machining in automatic of pieces from bar up to a diameter of 40 mm or raw pieces from press, with manual loading.
The machine is equipped with 10 stations and 9 machining units, horizontal axis rotary table. Four units left, one is radial and four right.

Transfer Buffoli Trans-Bar 2D/TRB10/8-CNC for the machining in automatic of pieces from bar up to a diameter of 55 mm or raw pieces from press, with manual loading. The machine is equipped with 10 stations and 8 machining units, horizontal axis rotary table. Four units left,four right).

Nr. 2 Transfer GBC 3DV AZ15/124-CN for the machining of raw press pieces or bar pieces up to a diameter of 110 mm and length up to 255 mm, with manual loading.
The machine is equipped with 8 stations and 15 machining units, vertical axis rotary table.
Five units below, five are radial and five on the upper part. One of this machines has the possibility to move radial units to effect operations out of axis.

Transfer Picchi TR6-8/OSE for the machining of raw press pieces or bar pieces up to a diameter of 60 mm and length up to 150 mm, with manual loading. The machine is equipped with 6 stations and 10 machining units, horizontal axis rotary table.
Four units left, two drilling units are radial and the remaining four are on the right.

Transfer Gnutti for the machining of raw press pieces with manual loading. The machine is equipped with 8 stations and 8 machining units, vertical axis rotary table. Four are vertical , the remaining ones radial.

2 axes lathe CNC Okuma LB15, single-spindle with single turret, 12 tools, maximum machinable length 600 mm.
