LATHE DEPARTMENT

The production of items more or less complicated with a prompt timing is of fundamental importance to Frigotech.
Due to this reason, also this department has been organized with technologically advanced machines, which are able to perform the machining using more tools equipment at the same time.
In order to provide an example, the standard two or four axes lathes have respectively only one or two tools that are in touch with the item.

Instead, Frigotech has 10 mobile headstock lathes Tornos at its disposal, which allow to have up to four tools, and two lathes Index, with which three tools can work at the same time.

 

Going into details:

Nr. 10 Tornos Deco 20 and Deco 26 CNC with mobile headstock, double single-spindle, 12 checked axes, diameter up to 32 mm, maximum machinable length 600 mm, 21 tools stations (17 of which motorized), maximum revolving speed 10.000 rpm, maximum power main spindle 7.5 kW.

Nr. 2 CNC Index Abc Speedline series 4 axes, integrated loader with spindle used for machining on the backward side. Maximum machinable diameter ø65 mm. Maximum machinable length 280 mm. Maximum revolving speed of the main spindle 5.000 rpm. 19 tools stations available (12 of which motorized). Power electro-spindle 20 kW.

 

Concerning the machining of simple products there is also a lathe CNC Graziano CTX300, two axes and two spindles, with 12 tools stations (all motorized). Maximum diameter ø65 mm. Maximum revolving speed of the spindle 5.000 rpm. Power electro-spindle 15 kW. .
